I'm Emily, the proud owner of Sandy Heart Shop. Juggling two little ones and happily married, I embarked on this creative adventure to craft one-of-a-kind gifts that spread smiles. What began as a way to find my creative side again after becoming a mom I began to connect with others far and wide. This morphed into a full-blown shop - talk about a wild ride! Our family roots trace back to the 1940s in Hawaii, with my husband, Mykel Hicks, carrying on his great-grandfather Harold Hicks' legacy with top notch carpentry and building from his roots Hicks Homes. As a family of four split between California and Hawaii, we're thrilled to announce our upcoming permanent 📍move back to Oahu in 2025. Stay tuned for more sandy adventures!
